These Terms of Use govern the use of software, extensions and plugins published under the Pixel Cosmique, including extensions designed for Adobe applications.
Installing or using Pixel Cosmique software implies acceptance of these Terms.
1. Purpose
Pixel Cosmique software products are tools designed to extend or automate certain functions of third-party software.
Each product has its own description specifying, in particular, its features, any limitations, and the software versions with which compatibility has been tested.

Rights granted under applicable law, particularly those relating to interoperability, remain unaffected.
3. Compatibility
Pixel Cosmique software may require a compatible version of third-party software, an operating system or specific components.
Supported configurations and versions are indicated on the product presentation page or Marketplace listing.
Pixel Cosmique makes reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility with updates to supported software and operating systems, but cannot guarantee that future changes made by third-party publishers will never affect functionality.
A plugin update may therefore become necessary following changes to the host application.
4. Third-Party Software and Services
Some Pixel Cosmique products operate with software published by third-party companies.
Adobe Illustratorand any other product names or trademarks mentioned remain the property of their respective owners.
Pixel Cosmique is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially endorsed by Adobe, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Use of third-party software remains subject to the licensing terms of its respective publisher.
5. Updates
Pixel Cosmique may release updates intended, in particular, to:
- correct errors;
- improve performance or usability;
- maintain compatibility with newer versions of supported software;
- add, modify or remove certain features.
An update may modify certain characteristics of the product when necessary for its operation, security or compatibility.
Any statutory rights applicable to updates of digital content remain fully applicable.
6. Support
Support is available for Pixel Cosmique software in accordance with the information provided on the Support page of the Pixel Cosmique website.
Support mainly covers:
- plugin installation;
- normal operation;
- reproducible issues;
- questions relating to documented features.
Pixel Cosmique cannot guarantee resolution of issues resulting from third-party software, a particular system configuration, a damaged file, or unsupported modifications to the user's environment.
7. Purchases and Payments
When Pixel Cosmique software is sold through a third-party platform or payment provider, payment, invoicing, taxes and, where applicable, refund requests are also subject to the terms of that provider.
For products sold through Adobe Creative Cloud Marketplace, payments may in particular be processed by FastSpring.
The commercial terms displayed at the time of purchase shall prevail regarding payment, invoicing and refund procedures.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights granted under applicable law.
8. Warranty and Conformity
Pixel Cosmique undertakes to provide software corresponding to the features and characteristics advertised.
Users who benefit from statutory protection relating to digital content or digital services retain all of their applicable rights, including any statutory warranties that cannot be contractually excluded or limited.
In the event of a malfunction, users are encouraged to contact Pixel Cosmique Support and provide the information necessary to identify and, where possible, reproduce the issue.
9. Liability
Pixel Cosmique software is designed as a production assistance tool.
Users are responsible for checking the results produced before any final professional use, printing, manufacturing, publication, delivery or transmission to a third party.
Users are also advised to maintain appropriate backups of important documents.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pixel Cosmique shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting, in particular, from:
- improper use of the software;
- modification or corruption of a document;
- incompatibility with a configuration that is not advertised as supported;
- changes to third-party software or operating systems;
- failure by the user to maintain backups of their files.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
10. Intellectual Property
Pixel Cosmique software, its code, design, interfaces, graphic elements, documentation and name are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Any unauthorized reproduction or redistribution is prohibited, subject to exceptions provided by law.
Trademarks, trade names and content belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Personal Data
Information relating to personal data and privacy is detailed in the Privacy Policy available on the Pixel Cosmique website.
When a purchase or installation is made through Adobe, FastSpring or another third-party service, these providers may process certain data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
12. Changes to These Terms
Pixel Cosmique may modify these Terms to reflect, in particular:
- changes to its products;
- changes to distribution methods;
- legal or regulatory developments.
The date of the latest update appears at the beginning of this document.
Changes will not affect rights already acquired by users where prohibited by applicable law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law.
Where the user is a consumer residing in another country, this provision does not deprive them of any mandatory protections provided by the laws of their country of residence.
Before initiating legal proceedings, the parties are encouraged to seek an amicable resolution.
